Bogalake
is the highest natural lake of Bangladesh situated at Bandarban,
Chittagong. This is a naturally created water reserve on hilltop an
unprecedented wonder of nature. The height of water of this lake never
changes whether it is winter or rainy season. The color of water of this
lake is blue. Many people think that there is a dragon statue in this
lake. Bogalake attracts the nature lovers in such a magnetic way that no
other place of beauty can dare to be the alternative of Boga lake.
Nature has created this Bogalake with its kind attention which results
in a legendary reserve of water on the hilltop to attract the tourists,
travelers and nature lovers not only from the local inhabitants of
Bandarban but also people from all over Bangladesh and even of the whole
world.
It
is almost 15 acre area. There is an Army camp at west side of the lake
and 4 villages of tribal community’s surroundings the Bogalake.
It is stand on approximately 3000 feet high from sea level. Hills are covered the lake surroundings with its own nature.

Traveller
can go there by chander gari or local jeep to enjoy the god gifted
beautiful scenery. From Ruma you can hire public jeep up to Boga lake.
On the way you have to register your name, contact address and other
details in the respective security camp. It is apprised that you are not
allowed to leave Ruma for Boga lake after 4pm.
There is a rest house of zilla parisad and the rest house is managed by Bangladesh Army.
The tribal inhabitants of Ruma bazaar provide the facility of food and dwelling place to visitors. You can stay at the lake side by lodging provided by the tribal communities. Tourists from home and abroad never forget to enjoy the wonder of nature.
