Prantik lake is created and developed naturally which attracts any visitor from
home and abroad. Especially film producers like the view of the lake
very much. It is surrounded by several kinds of plants and varieties of
trees. The management authority of this lake is Local Government
Engineering Department (LGED).
Prantik Lake is located in a village named “Holudia” near to bandarban keranihat road. Volume of the Lake area is 2500 acre.
It is 14k.m. away from bandarban city. It requires 30mnt's drive from Bandarban and 20mnt’s from Keranihat.
There
is no arrangement for Food & Accommodations in Prantik lake. You
can pass the whole day but before sunset you have to come back Bandarban
or Keranihat. You have to carry food and drinking water with your own
management.
The special facilities of the Lake are Journey in paddle
boat, picnic spot and fishing. This is a nice place for fishing. After
receiving permission from the authorities anyone can fishing here.
Local
bus is available from Bandarban to Holodia and Keranihat to Holodia.
From Holodia you can take an auto rickshaw to Prantik Lake or you can
hire a Jeep.
