Parki
beach is another attractive tourist spot in Bangladesh located in
Anwara thana under the district of Chittagong. This sandy beach is about
15km long and 300 - 350ft in wide with 20km tamarisk forest which is
created by the forest division.
The
beach is situated about 8km from Anwara thana and about 28km from
Chittagong city. Anwara thana is linked by road with Chittagong - Cox's
Bazar highway and simply accessible from all over Bangladesh including
Dhaka city. The beach is located 8 km. away from the Chatri Choumuhoni
point in this highway.
As the beach is situated at the Karnaphuli river channel, visitors can view both the Karnaphuli River and the sea together. Tourists enjoy the views of big ships anchored at the outer anchor, fishermen catching fish in sea, sunset, various coloured crabs at the beach and relaxed atmosphere. can reach there by bus/car/taxi from the Chittagong bus-terminal, 3rd
Shah Amanat Bridge or journeying by boat (only in winter) from
South-potenga Airport-jeti to Parki sea-beach. I think to arrive the
